Leo Fein

October 18, 2010

Algiers, Algeria, 1907 – Israel, 1993

Leo Fine moved to Israel in 1957 and studied art with Leo Roth and Moshe Agmon. He is influenced by the cubists and the early impressionists. Fein´s still lifes are reminiscent of Cezzane. His works are always full of bright saturated color that moves the eye expertly around the painting. Fein taught art at the College of Visual Arts in Be´er Sheva and he exhibited his work all around Israel and the United States.
