Genia Berger´s paintings are lucid and radiant, imbued with freshness and spontaneous joy. She studied at the Royal Art Academy in Berlin from 1930 to 1933. She continued her training in Paris where she broadened her horizons, studying the vibrant art world around her. In 1953, Berger became one of the founders of the artist´s colony Ein-Hod. Berger is best known for her whimsical ceramics.

    “Vibrant” is the latest buzzword. All “communities” are now “vibrant”, all “art scenes”. Colours have been described as vibrant for a long time, but now the term has also appeared among the new agers.
