August 24, 2010

Plock, Poland, 1909 – Auschwitz, 1942

Fiszel Zilberberg moved to Paris with his family as a child, hoping to find freedom and tolerance. He was thrown into French internment camps with many other famous artists and then eventually murdered with his family in Auschwitz.
